Why is it worth buying a copy of a brand watch?

Brand watches are very expensive gadgets and are desirable because of their quality and unique design. A lot of people would like to own such a luxurious product that we can see everyday in advertisements and TV commercials. However, we need to face the truth and realise that not everyone of us can afford to buy such a gadget. Therefore, it’s good to find a compromise and look for a cheaper copy instead of an original.
Such copies are often so well-made that they can be mistaken for originals. Therefore, an inexperienced person will see no difference. However, instead of a brand, we should pay attention to what the watch looks like – brand watches have beautiful ornaments, unusual designs and interesting forms. They attract our attention and make us want to have them.
However, we should realize that having an expensive watch on our wrist is also related to some sort of stress. We don’t feel comfortable thinking that we may lose or damage it. If we have a copy, we don’t have to worry at all – copies are cheap so even if we lose it, we could easily afford a new one.
We should also be aware of the fact that although brand watches rarely break down, they sometimes require replacement of some part which is very costly, whereas a copy can be left to a watchmaker for repair, which is much cheaper.
Some people claim that buying a copy shows the lack of taste and respect for a designer and the company which produces the original version. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we shouldn’t judge those whose views differ from our own. The choice always belongs to an individual. At the end we would like to add that copies have enjoyed and still are enjoying great popularity. Those who like to save a lot of money will decide to buy a copy regardless of the opinion of others.
